1. The weather. It was fabulous not to need a coat, boots, gloves, hat, and a scarf to leave the house. We even got some sun. Sun in January? What a concept.
2. San Pellegrino Aranciata. I'm sure it's available all over the country, but I've never had it before. It's a refreshing mix of orange juice and sparkling water. It's amazing! There is also a lemon version called Limonata. Yum!
3. Twin Peaks. Arslan's cousin recommended this hilltop summit. It is the second highest point in San Francisco and provides an unobstructed view of the city. We visited the spot on a clear day and could see all the way to Alcatraz.
4.Maple Caramel Crème Brulée at the Hyatt Regency. I absolutely love crème brulée.The rough, crunchy sugar topping and the smooth, soft custard underneath. It's the perfect dessert.
5. The weather. Did I mention that yet?
I hate the winter.
Can't iagine the winter you're having to endure!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got a brief reprieve :)
Gave you a bloggy award on my site :)
I hope you had the sandwiches at Ike's and the bread at Tartine. If not, I guess you need a return trip to San Francisco :)
ReplyDeleteAisha - Augh! You have no idea. Sooo much snow. At least I don't have to shovel. I leave that to the hubby. Thanks for the award! I saw that. Yay!!
ReplyDeleteLawyer - I didn't get a chance to check out those places although I was dying to. :( I did go to Cafe Chaat, which was good but not amazing. InshAllah next time. :)
