There are so many products for babies in the marketplace these days. What's necessary and what's useless? I'm still wadding through a sea of countless baby/toddler products! I hope my 4 part series about baby products helped make your shopping process a little easier. In review, here they are again:
Now, on to the final part of our series, 9-12 month items:

Shower hose - The Rinse Ace Deluxe Tub & Shower Rinser could of course be used at any age. Its 8 feet long hose and three pressure settings makes bathing so much easier. It comes with a connector that attaches to your existing shower head. Then just snap on the hose and you are ready to bath your little one.
Sippy Cups - After trying several cups, I have two favorites. Tommee Tippee Lil Sippee Trainer Cup has handles and an easy to use spout. It doesn't leak much, which is great. However, it is difficult to find in stores and it doesn't have measurement markings. The Playtex Lil' Gripper Straw Trainer isn't a traditional sippy cup, it has a straw instead of a spout. But, it makes transitioning to "big girl" cups easier. It has markings in ounces and mL. It is however difficult for baby to get the last ounce out. Can someone please make the perfect sippy cup?

Drum - Usually I wouldn't recommend noisy toys, but this is Rania's favorite! The B. Parum Pum Pum Drum is adorable! It's filled with colorful musical instruments, like maracas and a tambourine. I was afraid my little one would gag herself with the drumsticks, so I put those away. Don't worry, these instruments aren't too loud.
Book - The Wheels on The Bus is an adorable pop-up book based on the popular children's song. Rania loves it and want me to read it over and over. Just be careful that your little one doesn't tear the fragile pop-ups.
I want to share these lovely products with you. So I'm giving away a $10 Babies R Us gift card! To enter, leave a comment below and tell me what your most useful and/or useless baby product is. Disclosure: This is my gift to you, my lovely readers. I have not received any payment or products in exchange for writing about these products.

We invested in a Fisher Price swing with all the bells and whistles. The moving birds, the 5 speeds for the swing, and the 300 different musical themes seemed excessive but man, that swing has actually let the hubster and I eat dinner together, and helps me get some decent sleep every night :) Definitely worth the investment!
ReplyDeleteLawyer - We got a swing for Rania and she hates it! lol. Glad your little one likes it.
