Before I had Rania I thought I knew what it meant to be a mother. Man, was I wrong.
Apperently being a mom involves some serious multitasking, not to mention multiple personalities. At any given moment during the day I am any combination of these things:
Top 40 Radio DJ - I sing the same 4 songs on repeat all day long. Literally 4 songs. Rania doesn't seem to mind. She looks at me like I'm Whitney Houston everytime I open my mouth.
Translator - "Wait, what does 'WAAHHHH' mean? Is that different from 'WAH WAH WAH'?" I am constantly trying to decipher Rania's cries. And she cries alot.
Dry Cleaner - For someone so small, she has ALOT of laundry. I end up doing her laundry almost every other day!
Cow - I'm constantly either nursing, pumping, or getting ready to do one of the two. It's all about the milk baby.
It's worth every moment though. When I look into her beautiful brown eyes, I melt. Being a mother is the best job ever.
what about the wakeup service for the baby?
