The Beginning
My first attempt at blogging began a few years ago, when I started my freshman year of college. It was a labor of love and buggy HTML code. As I begin a new chapter in my life, I reach for my old familiar - the blog. There is something about the life changing events in my life that makes me want to share with millions of faceless, nameless people. However, I return to the blogsphere with trepidiation.Will anyone even read my blog? Does anyone really care what I have to say? If nothing else, it will serve as a sounding board and as log of my sheer insanity. So it begins.....

Salaams Jamila :) Will put you in my google reader, but I should say as someone who has been blogging for 6+ years, don't blog for anyone but yourself. If you do that you'll stick with it, but don't worry about those who are not commenting or wondering whose reading. You write for you and the rest will follow.
